I went on a day trip to Otavalo. There I went to the market, watched another World Cup match, and visited the local CEMOPLAF.

Otavalo is known for their market, and as wiki says, “Otavalo is a largely indigenous town in the Imbabura Province of Ecuador. The town has about 90,000 inhabitants and is surrounded by the peaks of Imbabura, Cotacachi, and Mojanda volcanoes."

I met some Peace Corps volunteers. One of them had been there for 2 years, and the other two had been there for a year. The crazy thing is that one of them was wearing a Rice t-shirt. I was super excited to find out that their sister was a recent grad. SUCH A SMALL WORLD.
